We are looking for qualified Early Childhood – Infant Toddler Educator
Centre name: DreamKids Childcare
Position: Early Childhood – Infant Toddler Educator, Permanent, Full-time
Where to work: 207-1194 Lansdowne Dr. Coquitlam BC, Canada, V3E 1S7
Wage and working hours: $34.65 per hour, 30~40 hours per week
Benefit: Dental and Extended health
Qualification or requirement:
– Valid BC Early Childhood Educator-Infant Toddler License
– Completion of Early Childhood Education diploma program
– Valid First Aid and CPR Certificate
– Able to communicate in English
Main duties:
– Develop and implement child-care programs that support development of children and Infant Toddler
– Supervise trainees or volunteers
– Establish guidelines for behavior
– Plan and maintain an environment that protects the health, security and well-being of children
– Plan and organize activities for school-age children in child-care programs before and after regular school hours
– Lead activities by telling or reading stories, teaching songs
– Guide and assist children in the development of proper eating, dressing, toilet habits, etc
– Maintain environment that protects health, security and well-being of children
– Conduct activity programs designed for young children and Infant Toddler
– Observe children for signs of potential learning or behavioral problems and prepare reports.
– Assess the abilities, interests and needs of children and discuss progress or problems with parents
– Maintain and update individual record of children
– Regularly communicate with parents regarding children’s development need and learning
