Electric motor systems technicians needed for Electric Motor Service Limited

2 Vacancies      Location: 8835 – 60 Avenue Edmonton, AB T6E 6L9

Duties/Responsibilities/Skills:  As per NOC 72422- Electric motor systems technicians:

Read blueprints to determine work requirements, Test and observe electrical and mechanical conditions of equipment, Troubleshoot and repair electric motors, transformers, switchgear, generators and other electro-mechanical equipment, Replace or recondition shafts, bearings, commutators and other components, Wind, assemble and install various types of coils, Perform static or dynamic balancing of armatures or rotors, Perform on-site servicing and repair, Test and repair or replace faulty wiring or components in electrical switchgear, Test repaired motors, transformers, switchgear or other electrical apparatus to ensure proper performance, Estimate repair costs.

Salary: $50.00 to $52.50 hourly (To be negotiated) / 40 hours per Week

Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time    Start Date: As soon as possible

Requirements / Skills:                   Languages: English

Education: Other trades certificate or diploma or equivalent experience

Experience: 5 years or more

On site:  Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

Own Tools/Equipment: Tools, Steel-toed safety boots

Transportation/Travel Information: Own transportation, Valid driver's licence

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Physically demanding, Handling heavy loads, Standing for extended periods, Bending, crouching, kneeling, Ability to distinguish between colours, Manual dexterity
