Responsibilities
- Design and develop power equipment and systems
- Install equipment
- Maintain equipment
- Read blueprints or other instructions to determine work requirements
- Service equipment
- Assist in design, development and testing
- Assist in preparing estimates, schedules, specifications andreports
- Assist in inspecting, testing and adjusting electronic components
- Calibrate electronic equipment and instruments
- Collect and compile operational or experimental data
- Carry out applied research in elds of electrical and electronicengineering and physics
- Conduct or supervise the installation, commissioning, and operation of electrical and electronic equipment and systems
- Set up and operate specialized and standard test equipment todiagnose, test and analyze the performance of electrical and electronic components, assemblies and systems
