Education:
No formal education required
Experience:
2 years of experience as a cook are required
Experience working in an Ethiopian restaurant is ideal.
Languages:
Oral and Written English is required
Duties:
- Prepare and cook complete variety of Ethiopian dishes to the highest possible standard
- Prepare and cook individual dishes and special meals
- Follow standardized Ethiopian recipes for accurate food preparation
- Create own Ethiopian recipes
- Schedule and supervise kitchen helpers
- Oversee kitchen operations
- Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
- Clean kitchen and work areas
- Maintain food safety standards
- Ensure a high level of cleanliness
