Description
Position: Transportation co-ordinator
Terms of Employment: Full-time, Permanent
Wage: $24-27/hour (Depending on experience)
Hours: 30 – 40hours/week
Benefits:
- 10 days paid vacation per year or 4% vacation pay
Job Duties:
- Candidate should co-ordinate, assign and review the work of shipping and receiving staff
- Ordinate activities; Processing purchasing transactions, co-ordinating production work, scheduling transportation crews and routes
- Plan, organize and oversee operational logistics of the organization
- Make work schedules and procedures, and prepare and submit progress and other reports and co-ordinate activities
- Train workers in job duties, safety procedures and company policies
- Requisition supplies and materials
- Make sure smooth operation of computer systems, equipment and machinery and arrange for maintenance and repair work
Job Requirements:
- 2~3 years of experience in the transportation related role is required
Educational Requirements:
- Secondary School
