Job Duties-
- Operate heavy equipment, John Deere controls,
- Clean and lubricate equipment and refill equipment tanks,
- Operate computer-controlled equipment, Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment,
- Secure special attachments to equipment,
- Operate two-way radios and other communication equipment,
- Perform minor repairs to equipment,
- Operate hydraulic pumping systems
Job requirements:
- Secondary school education is required.
- Completion of a one- to two-year apprenticeship program or Some high school, college or industry courses in heavy equipment operating combined with on-the-job training is required.
