Exude Dental Centre is looking for a F/T Dental Assistant.

Position Info:

• Position: Dental Assistant
• Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
• Wage: $33.00~$37.00/hour (depending on experience)
• Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week
• Number of Positions:  1
• Work Location: Unit 202 – 9093 King George Boulevard, Surrey BC V3V 5V7

Job Duties:

• Assist the dentist during patient examinations and procedures
• Clean, disinfect, and manage dental tools and equipment
• Set up dental materials such as instruments, fillings, and compounds
• Take and develop X-rays
• Perform teeth polishing, apply fluoride treatments, and sealants
• Take preliminary impressions for diagnostic casts
• Provide patients with guidance on proper oral care and hygiene
• Handle administrative tasks including booking appointments, documenting treatments, and managing inventory of dental and office supplies
• May carry out certain intra-oral tasks like suture removal, recording patient vital signs, polishing teeth, performing coronal whitening, and creating, placing, and removing temporary crowns and fillings

Job requirements:

• Language: English
• Experience: 1~2 years of relevant experience is required
• Education: Completion of an 8-month to 1-year college or other program in dental assisting is required
