1 permanent full-time position at minimum wage $15.00/hr. Location is at 1831 Pereau Road in Blomidon, just outside Canning, N.S. 30-50 hours weekly, depending on weather conditions. Position of Farm Labourer will consist of planting and harvesting various vegetables in fields, maintaining condition of crops in fields, such as weeding and hoeing, and warehouse work (preparing product for orders). No education is required and no experience is necessary, but definitely an asset. Willing to train. Position is physically demanding, in a fast-paced environment. Must be able to work in various weather conditions and stand for long periods of time. Must be a team player and get along well with others to contribute to a positive workplace.
