Canada Cedar Fencing Ltd. is looking for Fence Installer Helper and Landscaping Labourer (NOC-75110) to start immediately. We are a construction company specialized in cedar fencing, retaining walls and landscaping trades for residential houses and commercial buildings.
Most of our jobs are in lower mainland (mainly in Vancouver, West Vancouver, Burnby, Langley and Abbotsford area). We provide competitive wages, benefits, and safe environment to our workers. We are looking for energetic, attention to details, hard working, honest and willing to travel individuals who are willing to drive to client’s places of work. The transportation (company work truck) to and from the work site will be provided by the employer. Drivers license to drive a company vehicle will assist but not mandatory. The employment is full-time (30-35 hours per week), and it will be a permanent or two-year contract-based job.
Note: job will be outdoor, long time standing, sitting, and physically demanding, hot and cold weather will be part of the job
The main duties of these positions are:
- Load and unload construction materials such as wood, fence panel, bricks, rocks, stone wall panels and tools from at to work truck and to the work area.
- Erect, demolish and dismantle old retaining walls or concrete forms, scaffolding, clean and level the slops at construction sites.
- Mix, pour and spread materials such as concrete and cement for retaining walls.
- Assist tradespersons such as fence installer, bricklayers, cement finishers, in construction activities.
- Assist in leveling earth or slope by using rake and shovel, laying grass or turf and perform related activities during landscaping activities.
- Sort, clean and pile salvaged materials and move it to the garbage truck.
- Perform other activities at construction sites, as directed.
Employment requirements
Education: No formal education is required
Experience: 1-2 years work experience in trades labourer industry is an assist but not mandatory. On the job training is provided

Salary: 23.00 per hour ($41,860 per year)
Language: English (This labourer position require very basic understanding of the English language)
Benefits: 4% vacation, 5 days of paid sick leave, WCB insurance coverage and all other benefits according to BC Work Standards Act.
Basic medical coverage until enrolled into BC’s medical service place (from out of BC candidates)
