Deep Cove Osaka Japanese Restaurant
We are located in Deep cove area in North Vancouver BC and are looking for experienced First Cook.
Position: First Cook
Working condition: Full time, Permanent
Work Location: 4355 Gallant Ave, North Vancouver BC V7G2C1
Wage Rate: $28.85 per hour and 30~40 hours per week
Job Duties:
– Supervise kitchen staff and manage kitchen operation
– Prepare and cook and complete various Japanese food
– Assist in planning menus
– Inspect kitchens and food service areas
– Determine how food should be presented and create decorative food
– Monitor and record food inventory stock and order when needed
– Maintain work area clean and organized food preparation areas as the safety standards
– Train kitchen helpers and help them to improve their skills on preparing foods
Qualifications:
– 3 years of experience in Commercial Cooking
– High School graduation or higher
– Able to communicate in English
– Available to work in evening and weekends
