Food Service Supervisor
Mauritana Enterprises Ltd. dba. Gusto A Taste of Italy in Vancouver, BC is looking for two skilled and experienced Full-time, Permanent Food Service Supervisors.
Conditions:
- Position: Food Service Supervisor (Full-Time, Permanent position)
- Working hours: 30-40 hours per week (shifted schedule)
- Able to work on weekends and holidays according to the work schedule
- Hourly Wage: $17.00/hour
- Vacation: 10 days paid holidays per year or 4% gross salary
- Position Available: 2
Requirements:
- Completion of secondary school
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in food preparation or service OR Completion of a community college program in food service administration, hotel and restaurant management or related discipline is required
- Language: English is required

Job Duties
- Supervise and coordinate activities of restaurant staff.
- Establish work schedule
- Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage
- Estimate and order supplies and ingredients
- Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
- Perform cashier’s duties such as taking orders and processing payment if it needs.
- Train staff in job duties, and sanitation and safety procedures
