Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

Terms of Employment: Full-time/Permanent

Start Date: As Soon As Possible

Wage: $17.00/per hour

Job Duties:

Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of food preppers, kitchen helpers, and servers
Estimate and order ingredients and supplies for kitchen and service area
Oversee and maintain food service requirements and ensure quality of food meets restaurant standards.
Keep records of inventory, sales, and maintenance and generate reports when necessary
Prepare work schedules
Train staff in job duties as well as food safety and sanitation procedures.
Ensure adherence to food handling, safety and sanitation standards during food preparation, service and clean up.
Address customers’ complaints or concerns.

SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.

Experience: 1-2-year experience in food sector is required.

Note: Applicants with a college diploma /certificate in relevant field or management field will be considered with less experience.

Language: English

Ability to Supervise: Staff in various areas of responsibility such as Food counter attendant and food preparers, cooks, kitchen helpers, etc.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast paced environment, work under pressure, combination of sitting, standing, walking.

Personal Suitability: Effective interpersonal skills, flexibility, team player, excellent oral communication, client focus.
