Subway Radium in Radium Hot Springs, BC is looking to hire a competent food service supervisor!
Job Position: Food Service Supervisor
Position available: 1
Hourly Wage: C$15.00 – 16.00 (depending on experience)
Working Hours: 35-40 hours per week
Vacation: 10 days paid vacation per year or 4% gross salary for vacation pay
Language of Work: English
Employment Term: Permanent, Full-time
Job Location: 4921 Highway 93, Radium Hot Springs, BC V0A 1M0
Job Duties:
§ Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule the activities of food counter attendants and sandwich makers who prepare, portion and serve food
§ Estimate and order ingredients and supplies required for food preparation
§ Ensure that food and service meet quality control standard
§ Keep records of stock and sales including amounts and cost of meals served
§ Prepare work schedule and maintain records of hours worked by staff
§ Train food counter attendants and sandwich makers in job duties, and sanitation and safety procedures
§ Organize the daily closing activities including cleaning and food storage, etc.
Requirements:
– Completion of secondary school is required.
– Minimum 2 years of experience in food preparation or service are required.
– English skills
– Effective interpersonal skills
