Sushi Mugen in Vancouver, BC is looking for Cooks to join our team.
Job Position: Cook
Number of Job Vacancies: 2
Job Duties:
– Prepare and cook Japanese dishes and foods from menu, including sashimi, nigiri sushi, roll sushi, etc.
– Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
– Supervise and train kitchen helpers
– Ensure quality of food and proper size of food portions
– Maintain inventory and records of food, kitchen supplies and equipment and order supplies
– Clean kitchen and work area
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Hourly Wage: C$16.25~19.00 (depending on experience)
Work Hours: 30~40 hours per week
Vacation: 10 days of paid vacation per year or 4% of gross salary
Job Location: Vancouver, BC
Requirements
Completion of secondary school is required.
A minimum of 2 years of commercial cooking experience is required.
