Education:
Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
Experience:
Completion of a community college program in food service administration, hotel and restaurant management or related discipline or 2-3 years of experience in food preparation or service are required.

Specific Skills:
- Establish work schedules
- Supervise the daily operations of the restaurant’s food service function.
- Supervise and check assembly of trays
- Maintains food storage level and report when its low.
- Prepare food order summaries for chef
- Prepare and submit reports
- Maintain records of stock, repairs, Sales, and wastage
- Ensures quality standards for food are followed
- Estimate and order ingredients and supplies
- Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food
