Conditions:

• Position: Food Service Supervisor (NOC 62020)
• Wage: $17.50 per hour
• Working hours: 30-40 hours per week (Shifted Schedule)
• Full-Time, Permanent position
• Vacation: 10 days paid vacation or 4% gross salary
• Benefit: Gratuities

Requirements:

• Education; Completion of secondary school
• Experience; 2-3 years of experience in food preparation or service OR Completion of a community college program in food service administration, hotel and restaurant management or related discipline is required
• Language; English

Job Duties:

• Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food.
• Supervise and check assembly of trays and delivery of food trolley.
• Estimate and order ingredients and supplies.
• Establish work schedules.
• Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
• Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
• Train staff in job duties, and sanitation and safety procedures
• Resolve customer complaints or concerns
