Position: Food Service Supervisor

Working Hours: 7.5 hours per day/ 5 days per week

Wage: $18.50 – $23.50  per hour

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Main duties

·        Supervise all front-line service staff in all food & beverage outlets

·        Objectively monitor the overall performance, train, and develop team members as needed

·        Focus on operational service standard to meet or exceed resident expectations

·        Provide prompt, positive and/or corrective feedback to team members regarding compliance with operational standards

·        Accountable for leading dining room team members within operational standards and Chalmers policies

·        Effectively communicate with staff and guests

·        Ensure that all guest needs are met in a timely manner

·        Maintain a positive environment, which provides fast, efficient, and friendly service

·        Responsible for and directs residents’ in-room dining service

·        Maintain a quality and efficient meal service

·        Manage resident meal preferences and special requests

·        Comply with serving it right and provincial standards, rules, and regulations

·        Ensure all sanitization and cleaning requirements are met daily and between meals

·        Perform other duties as assigned and/or required by management

Employment Requirements

·        Completion of secondary school

·        Flexible availability for weekends & holidays

·        At least 1 year of experience in customer service or similar roll may be required

·        English language ability is required

·        Outstanding communication and relationship building skills
