0869408 BC Ltd dba A & W Restaurant is looking for 6 permanent full-time Food Service supervisor for 1-1275 Island Hwy South Nanaimo, BC V9R 7A4, 3 permanent full-time Food Service supervisor for 540 Island Highway East Parksville, BC V9P 1V6, and 2 Permanent full- time Food service supervisor #201-3555 Johnston Rd Port Alberni, BC V9Y 8K2 who could join immediately.
The following are the requirements of the job:
Position: Food Service Supervisor
Positions Available: 11
Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible
Compensation: $20 per hour
Location A–1-1275 Island Hwy South Nanaimo, BC V9R 7A4- 5 Food service supervisor
Location B- 540 Island Highway East Parksville, BC V9P 1V6 -3 Food service supervisor
Location C: #201-3555 Johnston Rd Port Alberni, BC V9Y 8K2 2 Food Service supervisors
Work Hours: 30 hours/week
Terms: Permanent Full-Time
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Establish methods to meet work schedules
- Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures
- Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation
- Hire food service staff
- Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
- Prepare budget and cost estimates
- Address customers' complaints or concerns
- Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage
- Prepare and submit reports
- Prepare food order summaries for chef
- Must have knowledge of the establishment's culinary genres
- Supervise and check assembly of trays
Skills and Education:
• 1 year to less than 2 years
• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
