(Food Service Supervisor)
We are seeking well-experienced food service supervisors to work at Sula Indian Restaurant Davie Street located at 1708 Davie St, Vancouver, BC V6G 2K7, Canada.

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Demonstrate extensive knowledge of Indian food, drinks, and ingredients to ensure a positive dining experience.

Oversee shift operations to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, authentic hospitality, accuracy, and efficient service unique to Sula Indian Restaurant, ensuring equipment is well-maintained and food is served promptly and professionally.

Address guest inquiries or complaints swiftly and professionally.

Lead servers and kitchen staff to ensure a seamless service flow, emphasizing teamwork and respect for Indian culinary traditions and flavours.

Inform staff on the nuances of Indian cuisine, including regional dishes, spices, and beverages, ensuring they can confidently share this knowledge with customers to enhance their dining experience.

Oversee the upkeep and organization of kitchen and dining areas, ensuring both reflect the warm ambiance and cleanliness standards essential for a quality Indian dining experience.

Enforce strict adherence to health, safety, and sanitation standards in all food preparation and service areas, particularly in handling spices and ingredients unique to Indian cuisine.

Carry out other responsibilities assigned by the manager to support smooth restaurant operations and uphold Sula’s service standards, including training staff on the nuances of Indian culinary heritage.

Support the manager in hiring new team members and provide hands-on training emphasizing Sula’s service excellence.
Prerequisites:
Education: Secondary school or equivalent.
Experience & Skills: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in the food industry.
Language: English
Annually Rate: $54,010 to $57,000 per hour for 30 to 40 Hours per week
Starting Date: As soon as possible
Terms of Employment: Fulltime and permanent
