Sushi Avenue Restaurant Ltd. dba Sushi Avenue in Langley, BC is looking for a Full-time Food Service Supervisor.
Conditions
- Position: Food Service Supervisor (NOC 6311)
- Full-time, Permanent position, 30-40 hours/week (shifted schedule)
- Ability to do shift work (daytime, evenings, weekends and holidays)
- Hourly Wage: $17.00 – $17.50/hour (wages to be determined based on experiences and skills)
- Vacation: 10 days paid vacation per year or 4% gross salary

Requirements
- Completion of secondary school
- Minimum 3 years of experience in food preparation or service OR Completion of a community college program in food service administration, hotel and restaurant management or related discipline is required.

Job Duties
- Supervise and coordinate activities of restaurant staff.
- Resolve customer complaints or concerns
- Establish work schedule.
- Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage.
- Estimate and order supplies and ingredients.
- Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
- Perform cashier’s or server’s duty such as taking orders and processing payments if it needs.
