Food Service Supervisor
J.M. Hillside Holdings Ltd. dba Subway in Victoria, BC is looking for skilled and experienced Full-time, Permanent Food Service Supervisor.
Conditions:
- Position: Food Service Supervisor (NOC 6311)
- Wage: $17.00 per hour
- Working hours: 30-40 hours per week (Shifted Schedule)
- Full-Time, Permanent position
- Vacation: 10 days paid vacation or 4% gross salary
- Benefit: Gratuities
- Positions Available: 1
Requirements:
- Education; Completion of secondary school
- Experience; 2-3 years of experience in food preparation or service OR Completion of a community college program in food service administration, hotel and restaurant management or related discipline is required
- Language; English

Job Duties:
- Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food
- Supervise and check assembly of trays and delivery of food trolley
- Estimate and order ingredients and supplies
- Establish work schedules
- Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
- Ensure that food and service meet quality control standard
- Train staff in job duties, and sanitation and safety procedures
- Resolve customer complaints or concerns
