Food Service Supervisor: Bubba’s Poutine and Pizzeria
Looking for a dependable, reliable, and energetic Food Shift Supervisor in a face paced environment:
- Training staff in job duties, food safety and customer service
- Supervising, coordinating, and scheduling activities of the shift staff
- Maintain and monitor employees shift schedules and performance, aid Manager in quarterly reviews of employees
- Monitor actions of staff and customers to ensure that health, safety and quality control standards are obeyed
- Track special events at University and help Assistant Manager in creating weekly work schedules
- Report any inventory requirements to Assistant Manager
- Overseeing the day-to-day operation of the restaurant including cleaning & table settings
- Help prepare weekly and monthly reports – inventory and sales
- Resolve customer complaints and rectify issues to provide highest level of satisfaction.
- Responsible for inventory management and cash control systems for the assigned shift
- Make sure that all local and national food safety codes are maintained
- Experience in pizza making and grease fryer operation an asset
Start: ASAP
Location: 401 Princess St. Kingston, ON K7L-5C9 – Bubba’s Poutine and Pizzeria
Full-Time Permanent position $18.00/hr
35-40 hours per week
Education/Experience: Diploma from community college in Food Administration/Culinary or minimum 2 years experience in a restaurant/catering environment
Soft Skills: Able to multitask, self-motivated, good communication skills and team player
