Description
The Milton Cook Chill Food Production Centre (CCFPC) is a HACCP Certified Food Production Center that produces 12,000 to 16,000 meals daily. Tasks include food preparation, assembling hot & cold food items and cleaning. Our facility is located within the grounds of Maplehurst Correctional Facility BUT Cook Chill is an independent production facility separate from Maplehurst Corrections. Our facility has NO inmates on site and all the associates that work on site are Compass employees who have NO interaction or access to inmates. The facility is strictly for Compass associates and food preparation only.
We are very close to GO Transit.
We are a unionized facility.

Load buspans and trays, Place dishes in storage area, Sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand, Keep records of the quantities of food used, Package take-out food, Portion and wrap foods, Prepare, heat and finish simple food items, Stock refrigerators and salad bars, Use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice and trim foodstuffs, Clean and sanitize kitchen including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances and equipment, Handle and store cleaning products, Receive, unpack and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards and other storage areas, Remove kitchen garbage and trash, Wash, peel and cut vegetables and fruit
