We are looking for an experienced Food Services Manager for La Bottega Nicastro located at 64 George St Ottawa, ON K1N 5V9, Canada.

JOB DUTIES:

 

  • Manage, Coordinate, arrange, and assess all activities within La Bottega’s food and beverage service, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.

  • Order and maintain optimal inventory levels of food, beverages, and supplies. 

  • Monitor stock usage, coordinate with suppliers, and implement strategies to minimize waste and control costs.

  • Ensure all services meet La Bottega’s quality standards.

  • Conduct regular inspections, enforce sanitation protocols, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

  • Engage with guests, address concerns, and implement feedback-driven improvements to enhance the dining experience.

  • Maintain a warm and welcoming atmosphere that aligns with La Bottega’s brand.

  • Recruit, train, and mentor staff to uphold service excellence.

  • Provide ongoing professional development, foster teamwork, and create a positive work environment that enhances efficiency and morale.

  • Ensure adherence to all legal and regulatory requirements, including food handling, employment standards, and workplace safety protocols.

  • Stay updated on industry trends, introduce best practices, and implement innovative strategies to enhance operational efficiency and elevate the overall guest experience.

  • Perform other related duties as required to support La Bottega’s success and uphold its reputation for quality and excellence.

 

Prerequisites:

 

Education: Secondary Certificate or equivalent experience

Experience & Skills: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience 

Language: English


 

Annual Salary: $53,200 to 56,000 for 30 to 40 Hours per week

 

Starting Date: As soon as possible

 

Terms of Employment: Fulltime and permanent

 

Benefits: 4 % Vacation Pay
