Job duties:
Prepare soil; seeds and cuttings; and transplant seedlings and rooted cuttings as per requirements
Spray tree seedlings to prevent disease and pests if required
Position irrigation systems to water nurseries and fields
Dig, cut and transplant trees, shrubs, and prepare them for sale
Provide information to customers on the care of trees and shrubs
May operate tractors and other machinery and equipment to cultivate fields, harvest genetic material and trees seedlings
Maintain inventory and order materials as required
Clean working areas
Produce Soil Amendments, and seedling protection from recycled materials
Other duties as required

Physically fit
Attention to details
Love of the outdoors
Be able to lift 40 pounds repetitively
Able to work in all season conditions outside
Ok with getting dirty
