Production Supervisors – Food and Beverage
At Valley Flaxflour Limited we promote a healthy lifestyle by manufacturing nutritious foods including the nutritional benefits of flax. Currently, we are looking for 2 Production Supervisors to perform the following duties:
- • Supervise, coordinate, and schedule the activities of the production workers
- • Estimate and request materials and supplies
- • Prepare production reports
- • Establish methods to meet the production targets, evaluate the personnel levels, and identify hiring needs.
- • Recommend measures to improve productivity
- • Train staff in specific duties, and safety procedures to ensure a safe work environment.
- • Report to the operations manager.
The supervisors will have the following qualifications and skills:
Completion of secondary education, 1 – 2 years of experience in the food and beverage processing industry, and the ability to communicate effectively in English.
Wages: $ 24.00/hr. for 40 hrs. per week
Work location: 188 Marshall Street, PO Box 89 Middleton, NS B0S 1P0
Terms of employment: Full-time, year-round work
