Industries Stena Inc, situated at 9145 Champ-d’Eau, St-Léonard, Québec H1P 3M3, tel. 514-322-5055, is looking to fill a position of a furniture assembler with experience to fill a permanent position, 40 hours per week.
Main duties :
– Prepare, sand, cut and adjust wooden furniture parts according to specifications of the drawings
– Assemble and veneer wood parts according to specifications
– Install hardware on furniture
– Reinforce the assembled furniture
Required skills :
– thouroughness, professional rigor and responsible work ethics
– have team spirit
– Reliable and punctual
Education : Completed secondary diploma
Languages : French or English, oral and spoken
Type: Permanent and full time
Start of work : as soon as possible
Salary: 17 $ per hour
Benefits : group insurance after 3 months of work
Work Schedule : Monday to Friday (Monday to Thursday 6h45 to 16h and Friday 6h45 to 11h45).
Experience required: minimum 1 year as furniture assembler or cabinetmaker
