Description
Position: Restaurant Manager
Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
Wage: $24.48 – 27/hour (depending on experience)
Hours: 30- 40 hours/week
Benefits:
- 4% vacation pay
Job Duties:
- Oversee the entire day-to-day operations of the food and beverage department
- Purchase kitchen supplies and ingredients
- Recruit and train staff
- Set staff work schedules and supervise their activities
- Develop and implement marketing and promotion plans
- Handle customer complaints and questions according to provided guidelines
- Ensure all the healthy and safety rules and regulations are followed
- Negotiate price, delivery, payment and other arrangements with restaurant suppliers
Educational Requirements:
Completion of Secondary school is required.
Experience Requirements:
2-3 years of experience in the food service sector, including supervisory experience, are required.
