Position Info:
- Position: Early Childhood Educator
- Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
- Wage: $22.00~$25.00/hour (depending on experience)
- Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week
- Number of Positions: 2
- Work Location: 1020 Ridgeway Avenue, Coquitlam, BC V3J 1S5

Job Duties:
- Monitor children to identify any indications of possible learning or behavioral issues and create reports for parents, guardians, or supervisors.
- Oversee and co-ordinate activities of other early childhood educators and early childhood educator assistants
- Engage in leading activities such as storytelling, reading, teaching songs, and organizing outings to nearby places of interest for children
- Support early childhood educators in implementing programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
- Provide guidance and assistance to children as they learn and develop appropriate eating, dressing, and toilet habits.
- Attend staff meetings to discuss progress and problems of children
Job requirements:
- Experience: Experience as an Early Childhood Educator is an asset.
- Education: College Certificate or diploma in early childhood education is required.
- Certificate: First Aid Certificate & CPR Certificate and E.C.E. Certificate
- Language: English
