Hiring a Dog Grooming Studio Manager
Qualifications:
- Completion of secondary school is required.
- A college diploma or vocational certificate in dog grooming is an asset.
- One to three years of experience (1-3 years) as a dog groomer or relevant progressive work experience at dog grooming studio or salon is required.
- Proficiency in English is required.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the overall operations of the grooming studio
- Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the operation of the dog grooming studio
- Control dog grooming related inventories in the studio
- Manage, assign duties and review the work performance of groomers;
- Prepare weekly or monthly reports to owners;
- Hire and train new groomer in job duties, policies, and safety procedures;
- Respond to inquiries regarding grooming and general health conditions of dogs; and
- Resolve problems and complaints.
Working Condition:
– Full-time, Permanent Position
– 30 working hours per week, Wage: $28.37 per hour, 4% vacation pay or 10 days paid vacation
