Description
We are looking for a Home Child Care Provider to help take care of one female child. This is a full-time position of 8 hours a day from Monday – Friday from 8am – 4pm.
In the morning, you will be responsible for preparing meals for the child. When the parents leave for work, you are responsible for the light housekeeping and to plan and prepare any afternoon snacks and activities for the child. You will be looking after the child, assisting with recreational activities such as physical activities like sports and exercise or arts and crafts to encourage the growth of the child. We are looking for someone who is energetic and caring.
In the afternoon, you will serve any afternoon snacks and while the child is napping you will ensuring the care and upkeep of the child's environment through light housekeeping. You will be performing light housekeeping alongside laundering household linens.
Overall, you will maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home for the child. You will be implementing disciplinary methods instructed by the parents, you will also be looking after the child's emotional needs in absence of the parents. You may organize indoor and outdoor activities for the child that can promote exercise or for educational purposes.
