We are looking for a full-time, permanent Home Child Care Provider in Langley, BC.

Job Details

• Position: Home Child Care Provider (NOC 44100, Full-Time & Permanent)
• Wage: $19.00/hour
• Working hours: 30 hours per week
• Employer: Nancy Carruthers dba Nancy Carruthers
• Work Location: 19648 69a Ave. Langley, British Columbia V2Y 3A6
• Vacation: 10 days vacation or 4% of gross salary
• Number of Positions: 1

Requirements

• Completion of secondary school
• Experience in household management is an asset
• Completion of a training program in childcare is a great asset
• Language: English is required
• Credentials: First Aid Certificate, CPR Certificate, Criminal Record Check

Job Duties

• Supervise and care for children in employer's own residence.
• Bathe, dress and feed infant and children.
• Oversee children's activities such as meals and rest periods, as instructed by the residence's owner and oversee the children's personal hygiene.
• Maintain a safe and healthy environment for the children.
• Participate in activities such as games, crafts, readings and paintings with the children.
• Keeping record of daily activities and health information regarding each child.
• Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home.
• Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents.
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals.
• May have to perform minor housekeeping duties related to childcare.
