Description
Our family is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Home Support Worker to provide full-time care to a senior in Vancouver, BC. We are looking for someone who is reliable, patient, and committed to ensuring the highest level of care and support. On-the-job training will be provided as needed.
Job Summary

Work schedule: 40 hours per week

Salary: $23 per hour
Benefits: 4% vacation pay; 2 weeks paid vacation after one year

Job Duties& Responsibilities
- Provide personal and health-related care, including assistance with mobility, peri-care, and bowel/bladder care.
- Offer emotional support and companionship.
- Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and personal grooming.
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals, assisting with feeding if necessary.
- Perform light housekeeping duties, including laundry and maintaining a clean living space.
- Support shopping needs by preparing lists, purchasing items, and organizing household supplies.
- Follow care plans and assist with medication reminders as needed.
Education & Experience Requirements
- Minimum secondary school graduation.
- Previous experience preferred.
- Related education or training in home care or related preferred.
- Valid driver’s license required.
