Hongdae Korean Restaurant is looking for F/T Cooks.

Position Info:

• Position: Cook
• Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
• Wage: $16.25~$18.00/hour (depending on experience)
• Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week
• Number of Positions:  2
• Work Location: 101-403 North Road, Coquitlam, BC V3K 3V9

Benefits:

• 4% vacation pay

Job Duties:

• Prepare and cook food as directed
• May recruit staff and set work schedule
• Train and supervise kitchen staffs in preparation, cooking, and handling of food
• Ensure food service and quality control
• Maintain the food prep area and kitchen clean and sanitized
• Monitor stock of supplies, ingredients, and place orders when there are shortages
• Plan new menu items, regulate size of food portions, estimate food requirements and costs, and purchase supplies
• Oversee kitchen operations

Job requirements:

• Language: English
• Experience: 2-3 years of commercial cooking experience are required
• Education: Completion of secondary school is required
