Position Info:
- Position: Cook
- Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
- Wage: $16.25~$18.00/hour (depending on experience)
- Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week
- Number of Positions: 2
- Work Location: 101-403 North Road, Coquitlam, BC V3K 3V9
Benefits:
- 4% vacation pay
Job Duties:
- Prepare and cook food as directed
- May recruit staff and set work schedule
- Train and supervise kitchen staffs in preparation, cooking, and handling of food
- Ensure food service and quality control
- Maintain the food prep area and kitchen clean and sanitized
- Monitor stock of supplies, ingredients, and place orders when there are shortages
- Plan new menu items, regulate size of food portions, estimate food requirements and costs, and purchase supplies
- Oversee kitchen operations
Job requirements:
- Language: English
- Experience: 2-3 years of commercial cooking experience are required
- Education: Completion of secondary school is required
