J & Y Sohn Enterprises Ltd. dba Sehmi Japanese Restaurant in Port Alberni, BC is looking for a skilled and experienced Full-time Hot Food Cook.
Conditions
- Wage: $18.00 – $22.00/hour (wage to be determined depend on experience and skills)
- Full-Time, Permanent Positon, 40 hours per week
- Ability to do shift work according to work schedule (daytime, evenings, weekends and holidays)
- Benefits: Free meals at work and tips
- Vacation: 4% vacation pay or 10 days paid vacation

Job Requirements
- Completion of secondary school
- 3 years or more commercial cooking experience as a Cook
- Language: English is required
Job Duties:
- Prepare and cook cuisine from the menu such as tempura, udon, yakiudon, teriyaki, donburi, cutlet, and etc.
- Prepare salad dressings and sauces / soup base
- Ensure to maintain high quality of foods
- Monitor and order supplies
- Oversee kitchen operations
- May clean kitchen and work area
