Description

We are looking for an “Hotel General Manager” for Boulder Mountain Resort Ltd located at 3069 Trans-Canada Hwy, Revelstoke, BC V0E 2S0 Canada.

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Establish strategic objectives for the resort, ensuring alignment with the overall mission and vision of Blue Mountain Resort.
Formulate and approve policies and programs that enhance guest experience, operational efficiency, and employee satisfaction.
Authorize the creation and structure of major departments, appointing senior staff positions to ensure smooth operations across the resort.
Allocate material, human, and financial resources to implement organizational policies and programs effectively.
Establish financial and administrative controls to ensure the resort's profitability and operational efficiency.
Formulate and approve promotional campaigns to enhance the resort's visibility and attract more guests.
Approve overall personnel planning, ensuring the resort is staffed with qualified and motivated employees.
Select middle managers, directors, and other executive staff to lead various departments and drive the resort's success.
Coordinate the work of divisions,or departments to ensure cohesive and efficient operations across the resort.
Represent the resort, or delegate representatives, in negotiations, partnerships, and other official functions to advance the resort's interests.
Oversee the resort's compliance with all relevant regulations, ensuring a safe and legally sound operation.
May perform other duties reasonably requested.

Prerequisites:

Education: High school or equivalent equivalent experience.

Experience & Skills: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience.

Language: English

Hourly Rate: $ 38.46 to $ 40.00 per Hour for 30 to 40 Hours per week

Starting Date: As soon as possible

Terms of Employment: Fulltime and permanent

Benefits: 4 % vacation pay
