We are looking for a well experienced Industrial mechanic for White Cap Supply Canada Inc at 100 Galcat Drive Woodbridge, ON L4L 0B9, Canada.

As an industrial mechanic, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing our production processes, ensuring efficiency, and maintaining high-quality standards. Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Starts and observes machine operation to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance production, and adjust controls.
• Operates twelve (12) or more machines and be able to set-up at least twelve (12) machines.
• Identifies, troubleshoots, and completes minor repairs of any issues with machinery and reports to Production Manager
• and Maintenance as required.
• Maintains condition of work area (i.e. free of mess, product in correct location, 5S etc.).
• Completes pre-use inspection and work orders.
• Performs quality and first off testing of products being produced to ensure that they meet or exceed quality requirements
• that are established. Notifies Production Manager of any issues with quality.
• Identifies and communicates non value added functions/processes in order to support continuous improvement efforts with
• Production Manager.
• Performs other duties as assigned by the organization.

Required Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in setting up a variety of production equipment.
• Ability to troubleshoot equipment issues and perform root cause analysis to prevent reoccurrences.
• Proven mechanical aptitude, able to read production drawings, and skilled at using measuring devices such as Vernier caliper, Micrometer caliper, Tape Measure etc.
• HS Diploma or GED strongly preferred. Specialized skills training/certification may be
• required. Generally 2-5 years of experience in area of responsibility.
• Refers complex, unusual problems to supervisor.
• Under general supervision, exercises some judgment in accordance with well-defined policies, procedures, and techniques. Work typically involves regular review of output by a senior coworker or supervisor.

Environmental Job Requirements :

• Typically located in a comfortable environment but with regular exposure to factors that may cause noticeable discomfort or a moderate risk of accident or illness, such as temperature extremes, moving machinery, loud noises, and fumes.
• Requires intermittent periods during which continuous physical exertion is required, such as walking, standing, stooping, climbing, lifting, and maneuvering material or equipment that may be heavy (50+ pounds) or awkward.
• No travel required.

Prerequisite:

• Required languages: English.
• Required skills: Flexibility and Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing priorities, work under tight deadlines, and thrive in a fast-paced environment with evolving production demands.

Pay Scale: 34.10 hourly for 30 to 40 Hours per week.

Starting Date: As soon as possible

Terms of Employment: Fulltime and permanent
