Position Info:
- Position: Registered Massage Therapist
- Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
- Wage: $40~$45/hour (depending on experience)
- Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week
- Number of Positions: 1
- Work Location: 2404 St. Johns Street Port Moody BC V3H 2B1

Job Duties:
- Conduct a range of motion and muscle tests and propose treatment plans for clients
- Keep records of treatments given
- Press specific points on the body with the fingers and hands
- Describe the risks, benefits, and procedures to clients
- Provide information about techniques for home care and provide instructions
- Massage and knead muscles and soft tissues of the body
- Administer massage techniques through soft tissue manipulation, relaxation techniques, hydrotherapy, trigger point therapy, joint pain, and lower grade mobilizations
Job requirements:
- Experience: Experience is an asset
- Education: Completion of an 18- to -24 month or 18- to 36-month program in massage therapy from an accredited school and a period of supervised practical training
- Certificate: Certification by a provincial association for massage therapists is required
- Language: English
