Inter-Pro Dental Lab is seeking F/T Dental Technician
Position: Dental Technician
Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
Wage: $32.00-35.00/hour (Depending on Experience)
Hours: 30-40 hours/week
Benefits:
- 10 days paid vacation per year
- Dental and prescriptions of drugs
Job Duties:
- Design and repair dental devices such as full or partial dentures, orthodontic appliances.
- Prepare plaster models, moulds, wax bite-blocks and impression trays
- Train and supervise other dental laboratory assistants
- Create and polish metal framework of dentures to obtain natural finish
- Mould wax over denture set-up to create artificial gums
- Pack plastic material in moulds to create dentures
- Cast gold or metal alloys for bridges and denture bases
- Make orthodontic bands from various metals such as gold, silver or stainless steel
- May consult with dentists or other specialists on problematic dental cases
- Take role in administration for the dental laboratory
Job requirements:
- College/CEGEP in dental technology
OR
2 ~ 3 years of experience in dental technology industry
Language Requirements:
- English
