We are looking for an Inventory Management Officer at 1050 Paignton House Road, Minett, ON P0B 1G0, Canada.

JOB DUTIES:

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of clerks handling inventory, including receiving, storing, and distributing hotel products, cleaning supplies, and food and beverage stock.

  • Ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, and quality standards specific to hotel and spa operations.

  • Develop and enforce inventory control procedures to minimize waste, loss, and stock discrepancies.

  • Collaborate with department heads to forecast inventory needs for spa services, housekeeping, and food and beverage/hotel operations.

  • Resolve inventory-related issues, complaints, and shortages promptly, implementing corrective actions as needed.

  • Train staff on proper inventory handling, storage techniques, and the use of inventory management software.

  • Requisition supplies and materials required for spa treatments, guest amenities, and other operational needs.

  • Monitor and maintain inventory management systems, ensuring accuracy and scheduling regular updates or maintenance.

  • Conduct regular audits and physical stock counts to ensure accuracy and accountability in inventory records.

  • Assist in procurement planning to optimize stock levels, negotiate with vendors, and reduce costs while maintaining quality.

  • May perform other duties reasonably assigned by management. 

 

Prerequisites:

 

Education:Secondary school or equivalent

Language: English

Hourly Rate: $26.50  to $ 35.00  per hour for 30 to 40 hours per week

Starting Date: As soon as possible

Terms of Employment: Fulltime and permanent
