Position: Chef

Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent

Wage: $17.95 – $22.00/hour (depending on experience)

Hours: 30-40 hours/week

Benefits:

• 4% vacation pay

Job Duties:

• Maintain records of food costs, sales and inventory
• Prepare and cook restaurant menus
• Purchase kitchen supplies and ingredients
• Train staff in food preparation and cooking
• Plan menus and ensure food meets quality standards
• Recruit and hire kitchen staffs
• Estimate food requirements and food costs
• Supervise activities of cooks and kitchen staffs
• Arrange of repairs of any equipment

Educational Requirements:

• Secondary school

Experience Requirements:

• 3~5 years work experience as a chef is required

Language Requirements:

• English
