Position: Cook

Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent

Wage: $15.20-$18.00/hour (depending on Experience)

Hours: 30-40 hours/week

Benefits:

• 4% vacation pay

Job Duties:

• Preparing and cooking various types of Japanese food items including sushi, maki, rolls and other Japanese dishes
• Assisting in the planning of menus
• Always maintain the food prep area and kitchen cleaned and sanitized
• Ensure the production of high quality merchandise
• Maintain accurate food inventories
• Training other employees with respect to food preparation
• Assists other cooks during the food assembly process
• May assist in hiring and recruitment of new staffs

 

Educational Requirements:

• Secondary school

Job requirements:

• 2~ 3 years experience of commercial cooking experience are required.

Language requirements:

• English
