Position Info:
- Position: Restaurant Manager
- Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
- Wage: $26.50~28.00/hour (depending on experience)
- Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week
- Number of Positions: 1
- Work Location: 220-4501 North Rd., Burnaby BC V3N 4R7
Benefits:
- 10 days paid vacation per year or 4% vacation pay
Job Duties:
- Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the operations of a restaurant, bar, cafeteria or other food or beverage service
- Recruit staff and oversee staff training
- Set staff work schedules and monitor staff performance
- Control inventory, monitor revenues and modify procedures and prices
- Resolve customer complaints
- Monitor health and safety conducts are ensured accordingly
- Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for the cost of supplies
- Complete cash balances, cash reports, and related forms
Job requirements:
- Language: English
- Experience: 2-3 years of experience in the food service sector, including supervisory experience, are required
- Education: Completion of secondary school is required
