Job Title: Jewelry repairer
Position: 1 (Full time & Permanent)
Education: No degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Will train
Wage: $18.50/hr for 40 hours per week
Language: English- (oral and written)
Skills: Problem Solving and working with others
Duties:
- Clean all parts using special cleaning and rinsing solutions and ultrasonic or mechanical cleaning machines.
- Instruct apprentices.
- Perform repairs and adjustments on watches and clocks.
- Examine, cut, shape and polish diamonds and precious and synthetic gems.
- Fabricate and repair precious and semi-precious metal jewellery.
- Set precious and semi-precious stones in jewellery mountings.\
