Consort Hotel & Restaurant in Consort, AB is looking to hire a Kitchen Helper to join our team.
Job Position: Kitchen Helper
Position available: 1
Hourly Wage: C$15.00~16.00
Working Hours: 30-40 hours per week
Vacation: 10 days paid vacation per year or 4% gross salary for vacation pay
Language of Work: English
Employment Term: Permanent, Full-time

Job Duties:
– Prepare ingredients by washing, peeling and cutting vegetables, fruit and other foodstuffs
– Prepare, heat and finish simple food items such as French fries
– Receive, unpack and store food and supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards and other storage areas
– Clean and sanitize work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances and equipment
– Maintain kitchen clean by sweeping and mopping floors and removing garbage
– Sharpen kitchen knives
– Perform other duties to assist cook and kitchen staff
Requirements:
– No degree, certificate or diploma is required, but minimum completion of Grade 10 is needed.
– No experience is required. On-the-job training is provided.
– English skills
Work Condition: Standing for extended periods
