Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Kitchen Supervisor to oversee kitchen operations in a dynamic restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for food preparation, ensuring that our kitchen runs smoothly and efficiently. This role requires a hands-on approach to managing staff, maintaining high standards of food quality, and fostering a positive work atmosphere.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily kitchen operations, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate kitchen staff, including cooks and bartenders, to enhance their skills and performance.
- Assist in the preparation of food items, ensuring consistency and quality in all dishes served.
- Collaborate with management to develop menus that meet customer preferences while adhering to budgetary guidelines.
- Conduct interviews for new kitchen staff and participate in the hiring process.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed to maintain efficient kitchen operations.
- Address any issues or concerns that arise within the kitchen team promptly and professionally.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, following proper sanitation practices.
Skills
- Proven experience as a cook or in a similar role within the restaurant or hospitality industry.
- Strong leadership abilities with excellent communication skills to effectively manage a diverse team.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary best practices.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations related to food service operations.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Experience in bartending is a plus but not required.
- A passion for helping others succeed in their roles within the kitchen team.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
