L.W. Survey Canada, located in Calgary, AB is looking for permanent, full-time Land Survey Technicians to work at Fort Mackay-Mildred Lake Plant Site.

 

Main duties:   

Manage and perform various field survey task and operate survey instruments and devices. Measure and record field data accurately with a high level of detail. Communicate effectively with supervisors, project managers and clients on a daily basis. Assist in the calculation, analysis and computation of measurements obtained during field surveys Assist in the preparation of detailed drawings, charts and plans Able to understand a safe work environment and be able to perform all job task in a safe manner. Teach and train staff if needed.

Work Location:   Mildred Lake Plant Site- Fort Mackay, Alberta T0P 1C0

Education:       Completion of a 1-2 year college program in geomatics or land survey technology.

Experience:     Previous experience is an asset.

Language of work:        English

Compensation:              $37.50/hr. 4 % Vacation pay and Group Insurance Package are provided.
