Education
High School Completion is required.
Experience
- 2-3 years of experience as Landscape supervisor or technician is required.
- Must have a Valid BC Driver’s License
- Experience of driving a truck and Trailer combo would be an asset.
Specific Skills
- Lead and supervise a crew of landscape maintenance technicians to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Plan and estimate the materials and labour requirements for individual contracts
- Oversee the use and maintenance of landscaping equipment, ensuring that tools are used safely and properly maintained
- Establish work schedules and procedures and coordinate activities with other work units
- Assist in implementing quality assurance measures to ensure that landscaping work meets or exceeds client expectations and industry standards
- Address any issues or challenges that arise during landscaping operations, such as equipment malfunctions, weather-related delays, or client concerns.
- Requisition supplies and materials
- Maintain accurate records of work activities, including time sheets, equipment usage, and project progress reports
- Hire staff and train workers in job duties and company policies
- Serve as a point of contact between crew members, management, and clients. Communicate project requirements, timelines, and expectations effectively.
- May provide snow removal services during winter months
