Hiring full-time Lawn Care Supervisor for permanent position

Employment Condition
-$24.00/hour (30 hours per week)

Employment Requirement
-Completion of high school
-At least 2 years of experience in related fields as a supervisor and/or technician
-Valid driver’s license in good standing
-Certified by Ontario Pesticide Training & Certification (OPT&C) for safe pesticide use
Skills and Qualifications
-Client focused and a team player
-Ability to supervise 1-4 people
-Ability to drive automatic and manual transmission vehicle
-Ability to communicate in English
-Must be experienced in operating agricultural tractors for residential snow removal
Main Duties
-Supervise and coordinate the activities of lawn care technicians and workers
-Analyze residential lawns and provide estimate and recommendation for individual clients
-Plan and direct services for clients’ lawn care and grounds maintenance
-Train workers and technicians in job duties and company policies
-Resolve work-related problems and maintain personnel progress and other records
-Maintain, repair and operate equipment such as trailers, blowers, line trimmers, mowers, aerator etc
-Apply products such as weed control and pesticides according to provincial guidelines
-Provide snow removal services using tractor during winter months
-May perform the same duties as workers supervised such as lawn mowing, fertilization, overseeding, top dressing and cleanups
