Position Info:

• Position: Accounting Technician
• Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
• Wage: $26.70~$29.70/hour (depending on experience)
• Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week
• Number of Positions:  1
• Work Location: 313-9600 Cameron Street, Burnaby, BC V3J 7N3

 

Benefits:

• 10 days paid vacation per year

 

Job Duties:

• Maintain financial records and manage, balance, and set up various accounts
• Compute and process payroll, utility bills, taxes, and other expenses
• Reconcile accounts and generate financial statements
• Record journal entries, create trial balances, and manage general ledgers
• Prepare and file tax returns and other governmental paperwork
• Compile and generate various statistical, financial, and accounting reports

 

Job requirements:

• Experience: 2~3 years of experience as a financial or accounting clerk are required
• Education: Completion of secondary school is required
• Language: English
